Tuesday Oct 08, 2024
Is social media really the be-all-end-all of marketing that people make it out to be?
I’ve noticed a trend in my business where the less time I spend on Instagram, the more money I make. So naturally, people ask: how are you doing it? Everyone says you need to be on Instagram to grow your online business and here I am saying literally the opposite, so what am I doing differently?
Today’s episode is going to answer that question. I’m pulling back on the curtain on my own business, as well as some surprising industry trends and inspiration from other social media-free online entrepreneurs.

How social media buying behaviour differs from other platforms and what that means for your conversion rate
The surprising reason why social media marketing may not be as profitable as you think

37. Are You Building a Business or a JOB?
Tuesday Sep 24, 2024
Tuesday Sep 24, 2024
I left my job to build a business. And instead, all I did was give myself a new job…
Ask any entrepreneur why they started their business and most will say freedom. To do what they want when they want. But ask them if they *have* that freedom they dreamed of, and most will say no.
You may not report to a boss anymore, but you still work long hours and have limited vacation days. Payroll is inconsistent. Deadlines are always looming and between client work and content creation and answering email, you’re left with very little time to do the work you actually want to do. There’s very little structure, very few boundaries, and very little freedom.
Sound familiar? THAT is the problem we’re tackling in today’s episode…
Click play to learn:
The real reason you feel tired in your business all the time
The difference between a job and a business and how you may be building the former without even realizing it
How to leverage income-generating assets for more time + financial freedom
Which system to prioritize FIRST if you’re feeling overworked and overwhelmed
The missing ingredient you need to 10x your business

Ashton loves to help women design profitable and sustainable companies from the ground up, and she’s deeply committed to helping women wake up to their power, live fulfilling lives, and create lasting impact on future generations.

Self-employed women in America charge 47% less than their male counterparts—here’s how to stop undervaluing yourself and attract clients who value your work.
Raising your prices is one of the easiest and fastest ways to increase your revenue, but most female entrepreneurs won’t do it until they’ve exhausted all other options. There’s a lot of internal resistance that comes with asking for more money. We don’t want to be seen as pushy or greedy. Even in cases where you know you’re undercharging, it still feels really hard to press send on that email.
Whether you KNOW you want to charge more but aren’t sure how to do it, or you’re just curious about what that would look like…this episode will show you how to increase your prices and stay booked out.
Click play to learn:
Why simply adding a 0 to your price or “charging your worth” is NOT the way to do it
My “backward” approach to pricing and why it’s so effective
How a pay increase can actually help you increase conversions (with examples)
Positioning tips to make your offers irresistible at any price
A proven messaging framework to sell your offers at a higher price point

Launch got you feeling all the feels?
Launching, especially live launching, has a reputation for being stressful. In my experience, most of that stress comes from not knowing your numbers. Without a handle on the data side, you end up getting bogged down by emotion, wondering where you went wrong.
But one peek at the numbers can tell you EXACTLY what happened and how you improve next time…which is exactly what we’re going to show you how to do today!
Kierra Conover is the founder of KLC The Studio, a modern boutique studio that specializes in consulting and done-for-you services. With close to a decade of corporate merchandising and marketing experience, Kierra has worked for large brands like Banana Republic and The Gap. She now uses her large brand experience to help entrepreneurs receive the support they need to execute highly successful and data-driven launches.
